I am Curtis Sluder, an Attorney practicing exclusively Traffic/Criminal Law in Western North Carolina. I have assisted thousands of motorists with traffic violations over the last 8 years, and saved drivers literally millions of dollars in potential insurance increases. What I can do for you: For most traffic cases, I can appear in court for you, saving you from missing a day of work to stand in a long line and a crowded courtroom, unsure of how to handle your case. In most cases, I can negotiate a lower speed, saving your license and insurance, ask the judge to continue judgment, which may be of particular help to some drivers, or make arrangments to get your charge modified to a non-moving violation, which will not hurt your license or insurance at all, in exchange for taking an approved defensive driving class. We can usually locate an approved class in your area, so you will not have to return to court at all. And, in some cases, we may be able to get your case dismissed entirely provided you can send us the required documentation. In all cases, if we cannot help you,we will tell you whe you call. We try to be available to you to answer your questions and calls promptly and courteously, and give you peace of mind regarding your charges.
